Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression typically go hand in hand. However, not everyone who experiences anxiety has depression and vice versa.
Anxiety can show up in many forms, such as, intrusive thoughts, physiological symptoms, worrying, feelings of being overwhelmed and so on. When experiencing anxiety it can be common to have a disconnect between your logical brain and your emotional brain - meaning you may logically know something but your emotions are not congruent, therefore creating anxiety and worry.
Just like anxiety, depression can show up in many forms as well, ranging from mild symptoms to severe. Each individual experiences depression differently, thus it is important to have a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs.
At Fortitude Wellness Journey, we take a client-centred approach and work with you, exploring which approaches fit your needs, identifying triggers, and implementing coping strategies to help support you through your journey.
