Lindsay (she/ her) is a Registered Social Worker, who has completed her Master of Social Work. Lindsay has over seven years of extensive experience working with children, transitional aged youth, adolescents and adults. Lindsay specializes in mood disorders, depression, anxiety, self-harm, thoughts of suicide, grief/ bereavement, motivation and concentration difficulties, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and dual diagnosis. Lindsay has specialized training in perinatal mental health with a focus on grief and bereavement after loss and pregnancy that follows, struggles with fertility, new parenthood, and life transitions.
Lindsay’s practice is passionately inclusive, pro-choice, feminist, sex positive, harm reduction, anti-racist, anti-oppression, culturally aware, and client-centered framework. Lindsay will support you with a fully individualized approach to your unique circumstances, using a trauma informed, person-centred, non-judgemental approach.
Lindsay practices from an eclectic approach using multi-modal therapies including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
